Roza Cherkassky Freifeld

Roza was born in 1893 in Smila, Ukraine.  Roza's father was Yakov Cherkassky and her mother was Leah Dashevsky.  Her paternal grandfather was Grigory Cherkassky. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Solomon, Isaak, Yury, Sasha, Fenya, Manya and Ida.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 74 in 1967 in Odessa, Ukraine.
