Ida Cherkassky, MD

Ida was born in 1898 in Smila, Ukraine.  Ida's father was Yakov Cherkassky and her mother was Leah Dashevsky.  Her paternal grandfather was Grigory Cherkassky. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Solomon, Isaak, Yury, Sasha, Roza, Fenya and Manya.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 80 in 1978 in Odessa, Ukraine.

‌Ida and Veniamin were married.  They had a daughter named Zoya.
