Isaak Cherkassky

Isaak was born about 1900 in Smila, Ukraine.  Isaak's father was Yakov Cherkassky and his mother was Leah Dashevsky.  His paternal grandfather was Grigory Cherkassky. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Solomon, Yury, Sasha, Roza, Fenya, Manya and Ida.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died about 1950.

  Arrested on manufactured charges of treason, in Moscow, during Stalin's purges in 1937 and died in the camps; date of death uncertain.

He had a daughter named Yana.
